The barn

Built for Michigan winters

A long, well-ventilated barn with a covered walkway running its full length — so tacking up in the rain is not a problem. Wide concrete aisles, good lighting, and a door at each end for airflow in August.

Ride in any weather

The reason most people board here. Sand footing, dragged on a regular schedule, under an open timber roof with clerestory light down both sides. Big enough to work properly, lit for evenings, and never closed for a lesson programme.

Summer evenings outside

A large sand arena sits right beside the barn, fenced in white three-rail with pasture and treeline on every side. Lit for evening riding, with a round pen nearby for groundwork and young horses.
